Ronnie Lessem

Co-founder & Lead Researcher
Professor (Dr) Ronnie Samanyanga Lessem, born in Zimbabwe and now based in the UK, was Co-Founder of TRANS4M (France), whereby he co-evolved, with Alexander Schieffer, Integral Research and Development, alongside Integral Economics and Enterprise, as their core products. Such has since co-evolved, together with Robert Dellner and Aneeqa Malik, and subsequent to an earlier journal publication on Linking College and Community, into Trans4m Communiversity Associates (TCA) in the UK, via The Idea of the Communiversity, which focuses on the regeneration of particular societies.

TCA is currently mainly active, through its emerging Communiversities in Southern Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and North America – promoting Communal learning, Transformation Journeys, an integral Research Academy, and Socio-economic Laboratories. Parallel to such Ronnie Lessem has launched projects, and co-authored books on European Management Systems, with IMD in Switzerland, European-ness and Innovation, with Roland Berger Foundation in Germany, African Management with Wits Graduate Business School in South Africa, Integral Green Slovenia with its Citizens’ Initiative, and, with TEAM International in Cairo and Medlabs in Jordan – Islamic to Integral Finance.

He studied economics at the University of Zimbabwe, the economics of industry at the London School of Economics, and Corporate Planning at Harvard Business School, gaining his Ph.D. in Action Learning for Business from City University in the UK. As now Professor of Management at Da Vinci Institute in South Africa, he has previously conducted research and taught for extensive periods at Bethel University in the United States, at City University as well as the University of Buckingham in the UK, at IMD in Switzerland in central Europe, at the University of Zimbabwe in Southern Africa, as well as at Yarmouk University in Jordan in the Middle East. He has also consulted with major multinationals on Management Development through Cultural Diversity and Global Management, two of the 50 books he has written.
